Procedures For Candidates Prior To Starting LGV Driver Training

Before any assessment or training can commence you will need to obtain a Provisional Licence to drive a large goods vehicle; the procedure is as follows;

  • You must have a valid Car Licence.
  • You must have a Medical Examination with a Doctor.
  • The Medical form D4 is to be completed by both you and the Doctor.
  • A Completed D2 form (Application for LGV Driving Licence)

Please Note: We can provide details of Doctors offering reduced rates for LGV medicals. The necessary forms. These can be obtained by clicking on the links below.

Our qualified and patient instructor Brian Alfords experience, will assist you in determining the length of your training course. The free assessment also gives you the opportunity to assess our quality vehicles and instructor who we believe is second to none.
